Shekhawat condemns Chavan's death

New Delhi, Jul 11 (UNI) Vice-President Bhairon Singh Shekhawat has expressed profound grief over the death of senior MP and Nationalist Congress Party leader Vasant Chavan.

In a message of condolence, he said Mr Chavan would be long remembered as an able administrator, a distinguished legislator and a dedicated social worker.

Mr Chavan died in Mumbai this morning.
