PM convenes urgent meeting on security situation
New Delhi, July 11 (UNI) Prime Minister Manmohan Singh convened an emergency meeting at his 7, Race Course Road residence this evening to discuss the security situation inthe wake of the serial bomb explosions in Mumbai and Srinagar.
The meeting was attended by Home Minister Shivraj Patil, National Security Advisor (NSA) M K Narayanan, Home Secretary V K Duggal and others senior officials.
The meeting reviewed the situation in both cities.
Meanwhile, the Home Minister said the government had information about the possible strikes but could not pinpoint the location.
''We have information, We are analysing it and are forming conclusions,'' he said but declined to share further details.
