NAC to organise workshop on fire safety

Hyderabad, Jul 11 (UNI) National Academy of Construction (NAC) will organise a two-day workshop on "fire safety" here on July 14 and 15, Adviser to NAC Director General V Prabhu said today.

Addressing the press here, he said the objective of the workshop, sponsored by the Hyderabad Urban Development Authority and the Municipal Corporation of Hyderabad (MCH), was to discuss various aspects related to fire safety with special reference to multi-storyed buildings.

Fire safety provisions for multi-storyed buildings, fire prevention, detection and protection systems and the availability of modern fire safety technologies were the agenda of the workshop.

Mr Prabhu said government authorities, builder associations and real estate developers would give presentations in the workshop.
