Musharraf condemns ''terrorist'' blasts in Mumbai
Islamabad, July 11 (UNI) Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf tonight strongly condemned the serial blasts on local trains in Mumbai and condoled the loss of nearly 150 lives in the explosions.
''Pakistan strongly condemns the series of bomb blasts on commuter trains in Mumbai,'' a Foreign Ministry statement said.
''This despicable act of terrorism has resulted in the loss of a large number of precious lives,'' it said.
Gen Musharraf and Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz also strongly condemned the attacks and offered condolences over the loss of life, the ministry said.
''Terrorism is a bane of our times and it must be condemned, rejected and countered effectively and comprehensively,'' it said.
