Monsoon fulfleged in Bengal
Kolkata, July 11 (UNI) Monsoon showers in West Bengal have lashed several parts of the state including Kolkata regularly for the past one week.
Several areas were water logged due to poor drainage system due to which were the worst affected.
Kolkata received around six mm rainfall last night, met office sources said today.
The met department has forecast heavy downpour in the evening.
The rains, however brought down the temperature considerably with no change in the humidity level which was around 90 per cent.
Weatherman recorded a maximum temperature of 30.6 degrees Celsius and minimum of 26.2.
They have predicted thunderstorms during the next 48 hours.
