Minister says sorry for outburst on media
Rajahmundry, Jul 11 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Roads and Buildings Minister Jakkampudi Ramamohan Rao today said he had apologised for his outburst against the media.
Recalling yesterday's incident at the Zilla Parishad (ZP) Hall at Kakinada, Mr Rao told reporters that his anger was against a particular vernacular daily which carried some malicious reports on money changing hands during ZP elections.
Such articles were tantamount to character assassination. The media persons should seek clarifications before publishing such articles and publish impartial reports.
Rajahmundry Press Club President submitted a memorandum to the Minister condemning the Minister's outburst.
