Kohima, July 11 (UNI) Suspected Naga militants today attacked the official residence of Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphu Rio but could not cause much damage.

Official sources here said the suspected militants fired seven rounds at Mr Rio's residence and escaped before the guards could react.

Later, six people were arrested in this connection.

Mr Rio was not in his residence when the incident took place.
