Maruti deploys Oracle to improve customer services

New Delhi, July 11 (UNI) Car major Maruti Udyog Ltd (MUL) today announced it has deployed Oracle-based IT infrastructure, to enhance customer satisfaction and employee interaction within the company.

''The new IT system will ensure efficiencies, better service, lower costs and happier people in the Maruti family,'' MUL Managing Director Jagdish Khattar said.

Maruti embarked on this IT implementation project last year.

The project aims at stimulating the company's value chain.

Oracle India Private Ltd, a subsidiary of Oracle Corporation, has two development centres at Bangalore and Hyderabad, which work closely with Oracle's global software development team headquartered in California.
