It is attack on Hindus by terrorists: VHP

Mumbai, July 11 (UNI) The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) today condemned the serial bomb blasts that rocked the city and said that the terrorists have launched a 'jihad' against the majority community.

These serial blasts have brought recollection of the 1993 bomb blasts here, they said and added this was a reflection of the same psychology, a VHP release here today stated.

The release also stated that the events happening from the past three months like the riots at Bhiwandi, desecration of the idols of Lord Ganesh, Hanuman and bust of Meenatai Thackeray at Dadar and today's blasts were all the attempts by ''jihadis''.

These terrorists should be taken into custody and strict action should be taken against them or the Hindus would come down on the streets and take everything in their own hands. If this happens again, the government should be blamed, the release quoted Joint General Secretary Venkatesh Abadev saying.
