IBM signs MoU with Mysore varsity to educate its staff

Mysore, July 11 (UNI) IT giant IBM has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the University of Mysore here to upgrade the skill and knowledge of its employees in the country.

A University release here today said under the MoU, the varsity would provide an opportunity for BSc (Tech) graduates at IBM to pursue their studies and take up MSc (Tech) course.

This understanding would help a majority of BSc graduates to take up post graduate studies in the university which had a four year MSc(Tech) course specifically designed to suit the purpose of the staff.

University Vice-Chanellor Prof J Shashidar Prasad said the course would begin from this academic year. Classes would be held at the respective IBM offices across the country. A few employees of the company who had completed MSc (Tech) had been selected for acting as lecturers.
