Godlass Nerolac becomes Kansai Nerolac

New Delhi, July 11 (UNI) Goodlass Nerolac Paints today said the name of the company has been changed to Kansai Nerolac Paints Ltd.

The change in name has come into effect from today, pursuant to the approval granted by the Ministry of Company Affairs.

The paints maker, owned 64.5 per cent by Japan's Kansai Paint Co Ltd, holds a 60 per cent share of India's automotive paints market, and 14 per cent of decorative paints.

It posted sales of Rs 1010 crore in the financial year ended March 31, 2006, and a net profit of Rs 138 crore.
