Gadkari describes late Chavan as personal friend

Mumbai, July 11 (UNI) Maharashtra BJP President Nitin Gadkari described the late Vasant Chavan, as a 'personal friend' and said this was the loss to the entire state.

NCP Rajya sabha MP Vasant Chavan died here this morning in his sleep.

In a release issued here today, Mr Gadkari said the late Chavan was a studious parliamentarian and a good orator.

He also said the late Chavan was a respected figure in all the parties because of his personal approach to everybody.
