Four wounded in another blast in Kashmir

Srinagar, July 11 (UNI) Minutes after five tourists were killed and 12 wounded in a grenade blast in Dalgate area, a powerful car bomb explosion rocked Lal Chowk, the nerve centre of Jammu and Kashmir's summer capital, here this afternoon resulting in serious injuries to four occupants, police said.

The grenade explosion took place in a Maruti car, bearing registration number HR 01 J-5141, at around 1230 hrs at Regal Chowk here, police added.

They said the car caught fire soon after the blast. Police said four occupants of the car were critically wounded in the explosion and rushed to a hospital.
