Four NDFB ultras arrested in Bangladesh
Shillong, July 11 (UNI) Four members of the proscribed National Democratic Front of Bodoland including its 'liaison officer' Sushil Boro, were arrested at Manikura village under Mymensingh district in Bangladesh.
The NDFB 'liaison officer' was arrested along with ten pistols and 57,000 rounds of ammunition from his possession.
The Bangladesh Rifles and the Rapid Action Battalion of Bangladesh who arrested the NDFB ultras also seized huge cache of sophisticated arms and ammunition and incriminating documents from their possession.
Quoting sources in Bangladesh, a Meghalaya Police official on condition of anonymity today confirmed the arrest of Sushil Boro along with three ther NDFB cadres -- Ashutosh Debra, Kobir Bazi and Bimol Murma on July 1, last from Manikura area.
As per the report, the police official said the four NDFB ultras were arrested on July 1 last after the Bangladesh Rifles and the Rapid Action Battalion of Bangladesh raided the NDFB's hideout at Manikura and Jairamkura village.
