Bomb blasts due to Mah Govt's inefficiency: Shiv Sena

Mumbai, July 11 (UNI) Describing the serial bomb blasts in Mumbai as shocking, Shiv Sena Executive President Uddhav Thackeray blamed the Maharashtra government's inefficiency for the complete deterioration of law and order.

''Home Minister R R Patil and Revenue Minister Narayan Rane should now answer who is behind the bomb blasts,'' alleged Mr Thackeray referring to the duo's attempts to lay the blame on the desecration of his mother Meenatai Thackeray's statue on Sunday.

''The vandalisation was the handiwork of fanatics. Will they now claim that the Sena has engineered the blasts,'' he asked.

''Only fanatics can carry out such dastardly crimes. The Mumbaikars have to pay heavily for the inefficiency of the state government. Will it at least now bring the culprits to book?'' he asked.

He claimed that the Sainiks have rushed to the help of the injured in different parts of the city.

Mr Thackeray said Maharashtra has become a ''godown'' of Islamic jehadis and RDX.
