BJP may consider slapping defamation suit against Khuarana

New Delhi, July 11 (UNI) Taking a strong exception to the statements of former Delhi Chief Minister Madan Lal Khurana making scurrilous statments against BJP leaders like Sushma Swaraj and L K Advani, BJP today said that it was open for the party and its leaders to take legal recourse.

Asked for his comments on Mr Khurana claiming that he had 'documentary evidence' against the leader of his former party 'having links' with an fugitive underworld don, BJP Spokesman Ravi Shankar Prasad said the statement was 'defamatory' and the party and the leaders would consider suing the leader and the newspapers publishing objectionable matter, he said.
