Bailable warrant for MP Chief Secretary
Jabalpur, July 11 (UNI) The Madhya Pradesh High Court has issued a bailable warrant for the state's Chief Secretary on a contempt petition for the state government's failure to allot a plot of land to a handicapped youth of Bhopal and asked him to appear in person during the next hearing on August 21.
Justice K K Lahoti issued the order yesterday on a petition by Ganesh Yadav, who was informed by the state government earlier about allotment of a plot for starting employment under a Central Government scheme, but failed to get it.
After failing to get the plot despite repeated attempts, Ganesh Yadav approached the court, which directed the state government to take proper action. On failing to get the plot, a contempt petition was filed.
