Advani blames Centre for internal security failures

Ahmedabad, July 11 (UNI) Leader of the Opposition in Lok Sabha L K Advani today squarely blamed the Congress for the "failed" internal security situation in the country.

Commenting on twin serial blasts in Srinagar and Mumbai, senior BJP leader said the condition has deteriorated particularly during the UPA rule.

''Security and development are the two inseparable essentials for a nation's peace and progress. One could not take place without the other,'' he said.

Speaking about inflation, Mr Advani said that the common man is reeling under rising prices despite the Centre's tall claim of keeping inflation under control. ''If unchecked, it is sure to hamper the nation's development too,'' he noted.
