A militant among two killed in Kashmir

Srinagar, July 11 (UNI) Militants killed one person while security forces gunned down an ultra in the Jammu and Kashmir overnight, an official spokesman said.

He said militants shot dead one Ghulam Hyder Lohar at Dardpora in the frontier district of Kupwara last night.

Meanwhile, in an encounter between militants and security forces at Kalaroos forest a militant was killed. One AK rifle, one pistol, four magzines, 56 rounds of ammunition, two hand grenades, one wireless set and Rs 400 Pak currency were recovered from the slain militant.

In another incident security forces busted a hideout and recovered eight detonators, one kg explosive, one wirelss set and other arms and ammunition at Rajouri, the spokesman said.
