Woman gnaws vaidya's hand
Shivpuri, MP, July 10 (UNI) A woman gnawed the hand of a 'vaidya', who attempted to treat her for snakebite but the woman ultimately died.
Bichi village-resident Amaravati (21) was admitted to a hospital after she was bitten by a snake yesterday. There was no improvement in the condition of the woman, as she was brought late for treatment.
According to witnesses, family members called 'vaidya' Rakesh Kumar to treat the patient. However, the woman gnawed his hand when he tried to provide medicine.
As the condition of the 'vaidya' started deteriorating, he took his own medicine. Later, he provided treatment to Amaravati but was not saved.
