Urban Development minister incurs the highest mobile phone bill
Panaji, July 10 (UNI) Goa's urban development minister Joaquim Braz Alemao incurred a Rs 70,018 mobile phone bill from June 2005 till May this year, the highest among the state's ministers.
This details of the expenditure incurred by each of the 12 ministers during the period were presented to the Legislative Assembly which met today for a 16-day monsoon session.
Chief Minister Pratapsinh Rane incurred Rs 31,161 on his two mobile phones as against Rs 35,931 by the Deputy Chief Minister Dr Wilfred De Souza.
Transport minister Pandurang Madkaikar paid Rs 58,606 while the lowest amount of Rs 5,881 was incurred by the water resources minister Filipe Neri Rodrogues.
The details were presented by Chief Minister in response to the unstarred question raised by BJP's Francis D'Souza.
