Prime Minister arrives tomorrow on a day's visit
Kolkata, Jul 10 (UNI) Prime Minister Manmohan Singh is arriving here tomorrow on a day's visit to the city to lay the foundation of Indian Institute of Science and Research of Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics at Salt Lake.
According to his itinerary, the Prime Minister accompanied by Union Minister for Science and Technology Kapil Sibal will reach Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport by an IAF aircraft at 1045 hours.
At the Airport, Dr Singh will be received by Governor Gopal Krishna Gandhi and Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacherjee among others.
From the airport the Prime minister's motorcade will drive straight to the Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics at Salt Lake where Dr Singh will lay the foundation of its Science and Research Institute.
After spending about an hour at the Institute Dr Singh will reach Raj Bhavan at around 12-00 noon where he would hold separate meetings with the Governor and the Chief minister on various issues including the future of Darjeeling Gorkha Hill Council(DGHC).
After having lunch and some rest the Prime minister is scheduled to return to New Delhi at around 16-00 hours.
