Polish President appoints twin brother as PM

WARSAW, July 10 (Reuters) Polish President Lech Kaczynski today appointed his twin brother Jaroslaw Kaczynski as prime minister, the president's office said in a statement.

In a surprise decision last Friday, Jaroslaw, the leader of the ruling Law and Justice party, decided to take over from popular prime minister Kazimierz Marcinkiewicz, who will run for Warsaw mayor in local elections in November.
