Police deny raid on residence of Bihar JD (U) leader

Dehra Dun, July 10 (UNI) Dehra Dun police today denied reports of a raid on the residence of former MP and senior leader of Bihar's ruling Janata Dal(U) Anand Mohan Singh, at Cross Roads here.

The former MP, who is facing trial on several criminal charges, was reported to have sneaked out of the Saharsa district jail a few days back.

According to sources, the police raided the residence of Anand Mohan Singh at about 1100 hrs but drew a blank.
