People protest against kidnap, murder of 6-yr-old boy

Hubli, July 10 (UNI) People of Navalur, a suburb of the twin city of Hubli-Dharwad, today observed a bandh in protest against the alleged kidnap and murder of a six-year-old boy last week.

They also staged rasta roko for over an hour, blocking vehicular traffic between Hubli and Dharwad.

Senior police officials visited the spot and pacified agitators following which they withdrew the rasta roko.
