Mentally deranged brothers throw boy into sump

Hyderabad, Jul 10 (UNI) In a tragic incident, two mentally deranged brothers threw a four-year-old boy into a sump.

Police said Md Matin, a resident of SRT Colony, was last seen on Saturday. His father searched the entire area but in vain.

When some locals informed him that Matin was taken by his neighbours Munir and Moez to their house, an enraged Imtiaz beat up the brothers who admitted to the henious act.

Police retrieved the body and arrested the brothers last evening.

The brothers, aged around 19 to 20 years, were mentally unstable.

They were living alone in the house after their parents abandoned them, they added.
