Israeli air strike in Gaza kills 2 - witnesses

GAZA, July 10 (Reuters) An Israeli helicopter gunship fired two missiles into the Gaza Strip town of Khan Younis today, killing two Palestinians, witnesses said. The identities of the casualties were not immediately clear.

Israel has carried out dozens of air strikes in Gaza as part of an offensive launched after Palestinian gunmen abducted a soldier in a cross-border raid on June 25.

The Israeli military had no immediate comment on today's incident.
