Heavy rains lash West and Coastal Orissa

Bhubaneswar, Jul 10 (UNI) Heavy rains lashed Panposh, Sunbdargarh and Paradip in Orissa during the last 24 hours.

Panposh recorded 4 cm rainfall, Sundargarh and Paradip witnessed 2 cm rainfall each, the Met Department said.

Several parts of Orissa will experience heavy rains during the next 48 hours, the meteorological department said.

Rains and thundershowers will occur at many places over North Orissa and isolated places over South Orissa, the department said.

The state capital, however, witnessed one degree rise in day temperature than the normal and recorded 34.6 degrees Celsius.
