Fans come out in hordes to acatch final

Rajkot, July 10 (UNI) Despite India not featuring in the soccer World Cup, football fans in the city came out in hordes last night to watch the grand finale between Italy and France and cheer their favourite.

Soccer fans across the city not only watched the 'clash of the titans' on huge screens put up in hotels and restaurants, but were also seen crowding the local 'paan' shops to see the much anticipated match.

A few others, accompanied by their family and friends, caught up with the match on screens mounted on high-rise buildings.

With each one rooting for their favourite, the nail-biting finish had everyone glued till the end, as they guzzled drinks and binged on mouth-watering eatables.

Although, most of the fans were hoping for France to win, they were not realty heart-broken when Italy took home the World Cup, beating France in penalty shoot out.
