Court reserves order on Tiger Memon's brothers bail plea
Mumbai, July 10 (UNI) Designated TADA court here today reserved its order till July 12 on an interim bail plea moved by Issa Memon, who is the younger brother of 1993 serial blast prime absconding accused Tiger Memon.
TADA Judge P D Kode today reserved its order following the arguments on the bail which plea was concluded last week.
The application moved by Memon was for a bail on medical grounds.
Earlier, he was being treated by a doctor from the state-run J J Hospital but the problem has not been cured completely. Therefore, he pleaded to be be shifted to a private hospital.
While opposing the bail plea, the CBI argued that the blast trial is already concluded. Court is all set to deliver its verdict shortly therefore the bail plea moved by the accused should not be entertained, it added.
According to the prosecution, he had actively participated in the conspiracy of the blasts that had occurred on March 12, 1993.
He flew out of the country a day prior to the blasts and was later nabbed in 1995 along with his family members at Delhi.
