Computer teacher for every Eklavya Vidyalays in MP
Bhopal, July 10 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Tribal Welfare Minister Kunwar Vijay Shah today gave directions to appoint computer teachers in every Eklavya Vidyalaya -- which is being run by the department.
Mr Shah, who chaired the seventh board of directors meeting of MP Tribal Welfare Residential and Ashram Educational Institutions Society, said the appointment of contract teachers in Eklavya Vidyalayas should be done through ATCEL on the lines of Central Schools and Navodaya Vidyalayas.
He said teachers appointed on contract basis in Eklavya Vidyalayas would be paid attractive honorariums.
The meeting decided that a salary of Rs 12,000 for grade I contract teachers, while it was decided at Rs 10,000 for grade II teachers and Rs 8,000 for grade III teachers besides providing them rent-free accommodation.
The meeting approved to utilise services of the organisation, which selects teachers for Central Schools, for selecting teachers.
A decision was taken to grant admissions to 80 per cent Scheduled Tribes and 15 per cent Scheduled Caste candidates besides five per cent other candidates.
The meeting decided to keep the staff pattern at Naveen Eklavya Vidyalayas at Chhindwara, Umaria, Sidhi and Dindori on the lines of the pattern in Central Schools.
A decision was taken to appoint teachers, who can teach in both Hindi and English, at eight model residential Eklavya Vidyalayas.
