CGG reviews its work in 2005-06
Hyderabad, July 10 (UNI) The Centre for Good Governance (CGG) board took stock of its operations during the financial year 2005-06 and reviewed the audited financial statements and the annual report of the board.
According to a release here today, the meeting was held under the chairmanship of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy.
The Chief Minister released the manuals on Right to Information prepared by the (CGG) under the Union Government's--UNDP' Capacity Building for Access to Informaton(CBAI) project.
Dr Reddy also released a manual for Public Authorities, Information Officers and Appellate Authorities, Guide for Civil Society Organisations, Guide for Media and Report of Information Commission-A Guide.
He inaugurated a networking portal on Right to Information. This was a comprehensive portal to bring together key stakeholders on Right to Information on a platform where they could access information, download tools and guides, share best practices and experiences and build lasting networks.
The members of the board appreciated the strides taken by CGG in the area of governance reforms in the country, the release added.
