Asom slash Petrol, diesel prices

Guwahati, July 10 (UNI) Asom government has reduced the rate of tax on petrol and diesel with immediate effect.

An official release issued here today stated that the state government, by a notification has reduced the rates of tax on petrol and diesel.

The tax on petrol has been reduced from 27.50 per cent to 25.75 per cent and tax on diesel has been slashed from 16.5 per cent to 15.5 per cent, it added.
