Agumbe recorded 8 cm rain in the State

Bangalore, July 10 (UNI) Following is the summary of observations recorded in Weather office here at 0830 hrs today.

Monsoon was weak over Interior Karnataka. Rainfall occurred at most places over Coastal Karnataka, at a few places over South Interior Karnataka and at isolated places over North Interior Karnataka.

Agumbe recorded heavy rainfall of 8 cm.

Chief rainfall amounts (cm): Kadra 6, Belthangadi, Gerusoppa, Nilkund 5 each, Subramanya, Karkala, Siddapura 4 each, Mudibidre, Siddapura, Linganamakki, Humchadakatte 3 each, Bantwal, Puttur, Bhatkal, Joida, Haliyal, Shirali, Londa, Hosanagar, Thirthahalli, Sringeri, Kammardi, Koppa 2 each.

Forecast valid until the Wednesday morning: Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at many places over Coastal Karnataka, at a few places over South Interior Karnataka and at isolated places over North Interior Karnataka.

Farmers Weather Bulletin: Light to moderate rain likely to occur at many places over all districts of Coastal Karnataka and at a few places over Belgaum, Haveri and Dharwad districts of North Interior Karnataka and Shimoga, Chikmagalur and Kodagu districts of South Interior Karnataka and at isolated places over remaining districts of North Interior Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka.
