ABG Shipyard delivers Rs 41 crore vessel to Maridive

Mumbai, July 10 (UNI) ABG Shipyard has delivered and transferred the vessel 61M Anchor Handling Tug/Supply Vessel worth Rs 41 crore to Egypt based Maridive and Oil Services SAE.

Announcing this, the company said following the delivery of this vessel, the order book position of ABG Shipyard stands around Rs 2,310 crore, while the order book position from Maridive&Oil Services is about Rs 207 crore.

In the calendar year 2006, the company, till date, has received order in tune of Rs 1,017 crore. Among the big orders in 2006, the company has bagged order from ESL Shipping, Finland worth Rs 275 crore, Lamnalco of Cyprus Rs 132 crore and from Sea Tankers Management Company, apart of John Fredriksen Group Rs 270 crore.

Since 1990, ABG Shipyard has delivered 92 vessels, and it now expects to cross the 100 vessels mark in the current fiscal (FY07).
