28-year-old sets self on fire, admitted with 100 pc burn injuries

New Delhi, July 10 (UNI) A 28-year-old unmarried woman today allegedly tried to commit suicide by dousing herself with kerosene in Adarsh Nagar area of North-West Delhi.

Madhu, who was rusheh to the L N J P Hospital with 100 per cent burn injuries, is said to be in a critical condition, according to sources.

Her three brothers, who tried to save her, were also admitted to the L N J P Hospital with burn injuries, according to the police.

A senior police official said investigations were on to ascertain the cause of the extreme step but ruled out any foul play.
