Two fishermen drown
Eluru (Andhra Pradesh) July 9 (UNI) Two fishermen were drowned when their boat capsized in the bay of Bengal at Vemuladeevi village in Narsapur Mandal of Andhra Pradesh today.
Police sources said the mishap occured when six fishermen belonging to the village ventured into the sea in a boat for fishing. As the waves were high at that time, the boat overturned.
However four fishermen managed to swim to safety.
The body ofone of the fishermen T Venkateswarlu (32) was fished out at Chinamainavani Lanka this evening, while the body of the other T.Appa rao (40) was yet to be traced, police added.
