Three children wounded in Kashmir grenade explosion
Srinagar, July 9 (UNI) Three children were wounded in a grenade explosion in Sopore area of north Kashmir's Baramulla district today, official sources said.
They said the grenade explosion took place at Bommai market in Sopore area at 1145 hrs this morning.
Three children playing near the spot were wounded in the explosion, the sources added.
Incidentally, sitting legislator from Sangrama constituency Shoaib Ahmed Lone was scheduled to address a rally in the area.
The sources said one child was rushed to the multi-specialty Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS), Soura while the other two were rushed to the Shri Maharaja Hari Singh (SMHS) hospital here.
