Sangh Parivar's relay fast enters third day

Kannur, Kerala, July 9 (UNI) The relay fast by members of the Sangh Parivar here to protest against the arrest of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leader Valsan Thillankery in connection with the murder of CPI(M) worker Yakub, continued for the third day today.

Inaugurating the third day fast, Kerala BJP President P S Sreedharan Pillai alleged Mr Valsan was falsely implicated in the case.

He said the Sangh Parivar had taken the arrest as a challenge and it would continue to protest against injustice done to Mr Valsan.

Alleging that Kerala was moving to ''cell rule'' of the Left Democratic Front (LDF), he said such moves would be defeated through democratic means.
