Sangh Parivar Fast enters third day

Kannur (Kerala), July 9 (UNI) The relay fast by Sangh Parivar rganisations at the stadium corner here to protest against the arrest of Rastriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leader Valsan Thillankery in connection with the murder of CPI(M) worker Yakub, continued for third day today.

Inaugurating the third day fast, BJP Kerala President P S Sreedharan Pillai alleged that Mr Valsan had been falsely implicated in the case.

He said the Sangh parivar had taken the arrest as a challenge and it would continue the protest against injustice done to Mr Valsan.

Alleging that Kerala was moving to "cell rule" of the Left Democratic Front (LDF), he said such moves would be defeated through democratic means.
