Record-VPT-discharges from cargo vessel in VPT

Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, Jul 9 (UNI) A record quantity of 14,605 tonnes of Di-Ammonium Phoshate was discharged from Merchant Vessel HUA QIANT by using four 20 tonnes and one 15 tonnes Electric Wharf Cranes.

A spokesperson of Visakhapatnam Port Trust (VPT) today said this surpassed the previous record of 12,118 tonnes discharged from vessel "Grey Hawk" on November 23, 1999.
