Jabalpur students to meet Kalam

Jabalpur, July 9 (UNI) A group of 19 meritorious students from a local government school will meet President A P J Abdul Kalam during his visit to the Madhya Pradesh Assembly on July 17.

Dr Kalam will deliver the inaugural address of the monsoon session.

The students of the school located at Ganeshganj area, who have passed 8th and 10th class examinations in first class, will be present during Dr Kalam's address and later they will have interaction with him, Assembly Speaker Ishwardas Rohani said.

Mr Rohani said these students hailed from poor families and the objeet of arranging an interaction with the President was to imbibe self-confidence in them.
