HAL to tie-up with Samtel Group

New Delhi, July 9 (UNI) Hindustan Aeronautics (HAL) will enter into a strategic tie-up with Samtel Group, a leading manufacturer of display devices.

Under the agreement, to be announced tomorrow, Samtel will provide colour display screens to HAL, company sources told UNI.

HAL, one of the largest public sector enterprises in the aviation sector in India, has 16 production units and nine Research and Development (R&D) centres in seven locations in the country.

Samtel, on the other hand, manufacturers a wide range of display devices like colour and black and white TV picture tubes, tubes for avionics, medical and industrial applications, glass parts for picture tubes, components for tubes like deflection yokes and engineering services.
