Fraud 'selling' rail reservation on fake MP letterheads arrest

New Delhi, July 9 (UNI) Police have arrested a man outside Rail Bhawan in New Delhi involved in 'selling' rail reservations through fake Member of Parliament quota.

An Economics (Hons) graduate, 22-year-old Kishore Kumar was arrested yesterday and letterheads of six MPs were recovered from his possession, according to a senior police official.

He would use 'scanned' copies of parliamentarians' letterheads to get reservations done for various trains, for which he charged upto Rs 200.

A computer, scanner, printer and two mobile phones were among various things recovered from his residence.

A resident of Model Town in North Delhi Kumar, who hailed from Sarai Kela in Jharkhand, was involved in this 'business' for the past one year.

During interrogation he said he had used fake letterheads of nearly 20 MPs to get his 'job' done.
