Four Nigerians arrested, cocaine worth 5 lakh seized

New Delhi, July 9 (UNI) In a major swoop against drug peddling in the Capital involving foreign nationals, police have arrested four Nigerians and seized cocaine worth more than five lakhs.

While one Antony was arrested from Uttam Nagar area of West Delhi last evening, his interrogation led to the rounding up of three of his 'patrons' -- Peter, Emanuel and Chime from Munirka in South-West Delhi, said a senior Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) official.

Nearly 142 grams of cocaine, valued at nearly five lakhs, were recovered from the possession of the four accused, he said.

The seized contraband had been kept for selling and not for personal use, the official added.
