Former MLC Dead

Mangalore, July 9 (UNI) Mr Manur Vasudeva Kamat, a former member of the Karanataka Legislative Council, died at his residence in Bantwal in Dakshina Kannada district of Karantaka today, following a brief illness.

He was 81. He is survived by three sons and two daughters.

He had been member of the Council from 1997 to 2003.
