Class II student raped in South Delhi's New Friends Colony

New Delhi, July 9 (UNI) A seven-year-old Class II student was allegedly raped by an unidentified person in New Friends Colony area of South Delhi, after being lured to a nearby field.

The girl, who lived close to Azam Dairy in Jamia Nagar under New Friends Colony police station, was reportedly lured to a nearby bush by a 'stranger' and raped on Friday last, according to sources.

Studying in a local primary school, the victim was going to the toilet when she was lured to the isolated spot by the 'unidentified person', who was absconding since then, said the police.

Medical examination has confirmewd the sexual assault and a case registered.
