Boy killed, four injured as train hits car
Alappzuha, Jul 9 (UNI) A nine-year-old boy was killed and four injured, when the car in which they were travelling, was hit by the Trivandrum-bound Swarnajayanthi expresss at an unmanned level crossing at Kariyilakulangara, between Alappzuha and Cheppadu stations in the district today.
According to police, the deceased, was identified as Aravind of Pathiyoor in the district.
The injured, including the victim's father, two brothers and the driver, were admitted to the hospital, police said.
