Bangalore, July 09 (UNI) Following is the summary of observations recorded in weather office here at 0830 hrs today.

Rainfall occurred at most places over Coastal Karnataka and at a few places over Interior Karnataka.

Heavy Rainfall amounts (cm): Agumbe 7.

Other chief rainfall amounts (cm): Kollur, Nilkund 5 each, Karkala, Kundapur, Panambur 4 each, Gerusoppa. Shirali, Mangalore AP, Udupi, Thirthahalli 3 each, Puttur, Sirsi, Yellapura, Madikeri 2 each, Mangalore, Karwar 1 each.

Forecast valid until the Tuesday morning: Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at most places over Coastal Karnataka, at many places over South Interior Karnataka and at a few places over North Interior Karnataka.

Farmers Weather Bulletin: Moderate to heavy rain likely to occur at most places over all districts of Coastal Karnataka and at many places over Shimoga, Chikmagalur districts of South Interior Karnataka. Light to moderate rain likely to occur at a few places over Belgaum, Haveri and Dharwad districts of North Interior Karnataka and Hassan, Kodagu districts of South Interior Karnataka and at isolated places over remaining districts of North Interior Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka.

Heavy rain may occur at isolated places over Coastal Karnataka and ghat areas of South Interior Karnataka during next 24 hours.
