Three U S soldiers killed in western Iraq

BAGHDAD, July 8 (Reuters) Insurgents killed three U S soldiers in Iraq's rebellious western province of Anbar today, the U S military said in a statement.

The statement did not give details on how the soldiers were killed.

Earlier, Iraqi police said a roadside bomb had caused U S casualties in the town of Karma, near Falluja, west of Baghdad.

It was not clear if it was the same incident.
